KIOXIA Showcases Scalable Flash Storage for the AI Era at 2025 OCP Global Summit
SAN JOSE, Calif., October 9, 2025 – Kioxia America, Inc., the inventor of NAND flash memory, is at the Open Compute Project® (OCP®) Global Summit next week to highlight how its next-generation flash storage solutions optimize data center investments in artificial intelligence (AI). Featuring KIOXIA BiCS FLASH™ 3D flash memory and PCIe® 5.0 interface technology, the company’s extensive data center and enterprise solid state drive (SSD) portfolio is scaling storage for the future of AI - delivering the performance, efficiency, and flexibility required by hyperscale environments.

- KIOXIA LC9 Series Enterprise SSDs: High capacity QLC storage for fast retrieval of large datasets
- KIOXIA XD8 E1.S Data Center SSDs: Minimizing WAF and improving performance with a KIOXIA developed RocksDB plug-in
- KIOXIA CD9P Series Data Center SSDs: Reducing power consumption in data center NVMeTM SSDs
Additionally, Kioxia is presenting an expo hall theater session titled, “The Impact of Flexible Data Placement in a Software Development Environment,” on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:30 AM PT. Led by Rory Bolt, senior fellow and principal architect for Kioxia America, Inc., this session will cover the impact of Flexible Data Placement (FDP) on real workloads through simple system configuration changes and without requiring software modifications.
